Dr Nathan Essey —
Specialist Primary Care Skin Doctor
Dr Nathan graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2006 from the University of Sydney and went on to further study Medicine at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney and graduated in 2011. Since graduating he has worked in many major hospitals in Sydney and Rural NSW and Victoria, with many years of experience in Emergency Medicine and Surgery, particularly the domain of Ear, Nose and Throat. He also has a keen interest in teaching and the use of digital health, having consulted for the Australian Digital Health Agency.
Dr Nathan has also undertaken extensive post graduate studies in Skin Cancer detection and management. Due to Dr Nathan’s extensive training in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery prior to becoming a Specialist Primary Care Clinician, he is proficient in surgical procedures (including biopsies and full excisions) of suspicious and cancerous skin leisons, as well as removing ear wax by technique of micro-suctioning.
